Commitment to Safety
Safety is the Primary Focus of Beckett Electrical
Electricity is inherently dangerous and because of that, we take every precaution and arm ourselves with as much education and training as possible. We do this to keep our employees safe as well as those in the environment around, and affected by, us. Ever-mindful of this critical interest, we have partnered with OSHA. This partnership includes, among other things, monthly meetings, site visits and access to educational materials. Every field employee attends a weekly safety meeting and is educated with a minimum 10-hour OSHA certification. Most of our apprentices are trained through a 4-year apprenticeship program offered by Independent Electrical Contractors’ Austin branch.

NFPA-70E, ABC & OSHA Compliant
Field employees are required, at a minimum, to wear hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, safety vests, and steel-toed boots. We are NFPA-70E-compliant and we maintain a daily, site-specific Safety Analysis on every construction project, paying particular attention to any unique customer requirements.
Jesse Beckett is an OSHA-10 and -30 hour Certified Instructor.
